In this video, we share with the world, first time footage, 13 years later of the first Underground Quonset Hut that we built in 2010.

This is the first time ever, a structure of this nature had ever been built and after hours, days, and weeks of extensive research and planning with highly skilled underground builders in the community along with our experience, we made it happen flawlessly.

Our specific techniques have proven the test of time (13 years) in one of the wettest climates in America, the Pacific Northwest in Washington State.

There are numerous details to this entire type of project that we do not share to the public for a reason and we do not endorse anyone to ever attempt to do this without professional guidance and properly engineered plans. If you desire to have your own Underground built, send us an email through our website or email provided below and we'll get back to you asap.

P.S. our high quality Go Pro camera wasn't working properly the day this structure was able to be filmed, we ended up using an iPhone instead. We'll get better over time !

Great structures, but you move too much & too fast.
  • @smetz2464
Steady Lad, Steady! Slooooowly move that camera - you're giving everyone headaches and upset tummies. Calm down and mellow out.
  • @adriennerowe3937
I like the home, and your explanation. I did find the camera movement too much of challenge, but the transcript helps with that.
  • Videos are great. But the back ground music is distracting and hard to hear the vocals for hard of hearing

I've been wanting to do this for a long time. Thanks for the proof of concept.
  • Fascinating….. only my stomach is going around in circles. You move the camera so fast, especially when you’re showing different things. There’s an art to filming. Content is fantastic.

I would have loved to watch more of this video but as fast as you were moving the camara around it was nearly impossible to see anything.

You need to work on you camera movement,i felt like i was on a rollercoaster, and half of what you are trying to talk about or show is either to close or to fast of movement,i rate this video a 3 ,slow down bub
  • @crogers3783
please try to pan the camera slowly. Nice place!

I would probably consider having a separate sealed room inside for the generator. If ever found the power supply it would be the first to get shutdown forcing anyone out. Exhaust would be about 20ft up so it can’t be reached. With a 5000L diesel tank. Ah many many designs that could be done. This is definitely a beauty.

Thanks for the video. I am 6 minutes in and the fast sweeping camera shots made me nauseous. If I remember I will try it at slower speed but learn to edit please and remember sometimes the camera man does die.
  • I couldn't finish watching the video because it made me sick to my stomach. The camera was moving way too fast.
  • @BearMeat4Dinner
So beautiful! I’m gonna do this when I get home! I want my house to be under ground!
  • @kiza4178
Wonderful home. You did a very nice build!
  • @thomasdean5651
Need to do slow pans when recording. Too much movement to watch.

Regarding the main 12" air intake air pipe. It appears to be the plastic double wall pipe and I assume it has a slight downwards slope to expell any condensation that might develop . What is the white powdery looking substance inside the pipe? It appears black on the bottom where water may have condensed back out. Based on the dead/dry vegetation covering the structure you appear to have a pretty dry climate. Did you ever have moisture problems in this pipe and what is the white discoloration? Did you have a mold problem? On mine I made the intake pipe 24" so that I could get in there with a mechanic's creeper to clean or disinfect the inside if need be.

Pretty neat stuff.I came up with a idea while thinking about a bus conversion that I call a slide in.A slide out with several units that would slide into the bus, perhaps one of them being a kitchen island, clothing storage and other types of storage and possibly a slide in Murphy bed.Thinking this general idea would be beneficial for a structure like that.
