Welcome to todays's video where I share how I teach spelling in our homeschool! This spelling curriculum is new to our homeschool and it is how I am currently teaching spelling as a homeschool mom to our three boys. I hope this video answers your questions regarding Phonetic Zoo from IEW. This is our first year using this specific spelling resource and we are so glad with the decision we made.

I always thought Phonetic Zoo was more complicated than this. Thank you! Seems very easy and simple. Love that you can do it with multiple kids at the same time.

We recently switched spelling too! Having something independent and takes just 10mins is definitely a game changer!

Thank you so much for this so helpful are spelling from IEW just came two days ago so yesterday was our first go and I absolutely love it and I did listen to Andrewās video about spelling and the brain (which I typically donāt watch the videos) and that was amazing and makes me even more excited to be using this program and so far my struggling speller was really happy with this program on the placement test he did place outside of level a but he wanted to give it a try and he did just fine I think itās going to be a good fit

Mama are you still loving this?! Iām noticing my 5th grader needs some serious phonetic help due to this being our first homeschool year! He was taught in public to sight memorize and I want to mend this! š

That's funny, we re-write three times too for the missed words. My kids didn't want to listen to Mr. Andrew so I just call it to them. LOVE this program. We started last year for both kids. The oldest (8th grade) just finished lesson 43 today in "A". My other (6th grade) is almost on 40. So impressed with IEW! Worth every penny

I have never looked at this!! My boys really struggle with spelling, and this sounds like it would be so good for them šš What age do you do it with? I combine my 2nd and 4th grader with Spelling. Thanks for sharing, Jamie!! ā¤ā¤

Iāve wondered how phonetic zoo works, it looks way more difficult/involved when Iāve looked at on their site! My struggling reader/speller gets stressed out by spelling rules so Iām trying Spelling You See this year for him, hopefully it worksā¦

Are the audio files included with the teachers notes? I see the budget package but I donāt see that it has the files included with that.

Hey Jamie!!! Iām pretty sure Iām switching to phonetic zoo so Iām glad I found your video! I had no idea you were using it!!!! I have a Question tho, did you use the placement or did you just start it?? I really want to start level A but not sure Kade is gonna pass the placement test cause spelling isnāt sticking for him which is why Iām switching to this.
