Reward Mine, supposedly the best place to ride directly into a mine. I have explored many mines while out riding on my KTM 350 excf but the Reward Mine beats them all. Half the fun was just getting to the mine as we our campground was quite a ways away. We didn't have any planned route on how to get there and only a vague idea of which direction to go. But isn't that what dual sport rides are all about. Riding deep into the mine puts all your senses on alert as a gps is useless in helping you find your way back out. Why is my thumbnail all black, well I forgot that when I turn off my bike my headlight also turns off after a short delay. Pitch black without ANY light is not a place for those that panic easy or are afraid of the dark. But for the rest of us it's a unique experience. You ought to try it some time!
