"Are they that blind?" Uh, the Jedi didn't recognize that Palpatine was a Sith lord right under their nose. I think hubris is their kryptonite, always.
  • @robertstwocents
Sol went to the ship to report the incident. He left the scene as is because the Jedi will want to investigate the scene.

Because Qimir refers to Sol as master, maybe Qimir was "recruited/abducted" by the Jedi as a small child and Sol could sense the force and great potential in Qimir. Sol starts to train Qimir as an apprentice but then begins to sense the dark side within him and halts his training without explanation and abandons him, or even tries to unalive him because of the darkness within. Qimir then feels isolated and betrayed by the Jedi and Darth Plagus senses his intense emotions and power and is introduced to the dark side and the way of the Sith. Sol has a hard time recognizing Qimir because his mind has been so corrupted and clouded by the dark side that he is essentially a different person. Or Sol does recognize him and is so full of guilt he cant even admit it to himself. Just a thought.
  • OSHA just saw Yord and Jecki killed because of Mae and y’all are confused why she doubles down on the Jedi law and order?
  • @karumehickman
Qimir didnt call himself a Sith. He said that the Jedi would call him a Sith. Not exact;ly the same thing.
  • Unpopular opinion: Qimir should’ve been the protagonist of the Acolyte. No twins. No witches. Just “Qimir” training as a Sith apprentice and navigating the galaxy.

Yord was being realistic about lightsaber combat. The only beings that can really use lightsabers effectively are jedi. For non force users a blaster is much easier to kill with. So the only real experience any jedi has against another lightsaber is dueling another jedi trained by jedi.

He has no Sith origins. When asked what he was he merely said “you would call me a Sith.” It just meant “I don’t fall in line with your bs” and am still going to use his power as he sees fit. As he can’t be a witch, he’s not a Jedi so… I guess you’d call me a Sith.

When Qimir kills Jecki lon. That was a filipino martial arts move. Kali, also known as Arnis or Eskrima, is the martial art of the Philippines. Kali emphasizes fighting with tools like sticks, knives, swords, improvised weapons, as well as empty hand techniques. Manny Jacinto is filipino.
  • The choreography in this episode was fantastic, one of the best lightsaber battles we have ever seen. A story focusing on Qimir should have been the direction the show focused on.
  • @debso
Acknowledging a jedi as a master isn't uncommon. Sidious called Yoda "master Yoda"
  • @kokane531
Osha will kill Sol in the final episode without a weapon and this will be when she completely turns and fulfils her sister's original objective and becomes the Acolyte.

I think Qimir and his master were at the ascension ceremony. There are two mysterious figures flanking Aniseya, and you can see their breath, so I don't think they are coven members. I think Qimir's master is actually the one who can force possess people, they just made it appear as if Aniseya was doing it. I think Aniseya would be reluctant to "pull the thread." I think Sol cuts down Aniseya when Kelnacca is possessed, thinking it would sever the tie, but then realized he killed an "innocent" when the force possession tie was not severed.
  • @its-siilvy
They used real light-up devices with battery packs in them for this show, so kinda kills Erik’s thing for the choreography around the placement of where the beams “would be” (and also explains why the hilts are thicc hogs)
  • @AAAAGGGGHHHHH
More Unpopular Opinion: The force healing isn’t really that big of a deal
  • @computerboy2k
My son and I knew he might be one of the first knights of Ren, who do not follow the rule of two…
  • @Numberidge
The amount of time it took Eric to open that lightsaber 😂
  • Is he really a Sith though? Or is he saying that any Force user who is not a Jedi tends to get lumped under the Sith banner when they may just be a dark Jedi or just a force user who does not adhere to the Jedi dogma.
