XFM The Ricky Gervais Show Series 2 Episode 46 - Safe sauce

Hey guys, sorry for pinning this comment on all videos but I want to give you an update on the channel. I've been slowly adding a show archive to the videos including a full transcript added as sub titles and a full track listing (with links to YouTube videos for each track). I love the fact this was going out as a radio show 'I'd turn off today we've got nothing' hahaha

Love how Karl talks like he's got nothing to lose when he's fed up with Ricky and Steve.

This is one of the more tense episodes

This episode has some of the most fever-pitch moments of tension. So many really icy and angry interactions. It's also got some of the best song transitions - where a mood-appropriate song fades in over Karl moaning, or going into a rage. A real pearler.

22:05 - "I 'ate him...I 'ate 'im....I HATE...." Karl goes a bit mental there. 35:10 - "I'll tell you what annoys me about those things like that.." "Me." "Well in the paper...well you do! And everyone knows that." I love how venomous that sounded! xD

The way Steve deadpans " Karl, there's never anything" makes me laugh every time.

One of my favorite episodes. Karl is so pissed off. I love it.

"Karl what's happened to you this week, mate?" "Nowts 'appened" Imagine a slick, modern radio station owner hearing one of his DJ's say that on a live broadcast

Time for bed, time for ricky karl and steve.

"Round the back of the bike sheds having a swear". Hahahhaa I usually just let Karl's odd words and phrases slide, but when Ricky or Steve point em out, they always make me laugh!

35:11 - Karl finally bursts 🤣🤣🤣 Karl - “I’ll tell you what annoys me ...” Ricky - “me ?” Karl - “ 😡

I like how Steve kind of started to side with Karl in this episode.

35:35 - "Long Links" Kills me every-time.

I've been falling asleep to these for nearly 5 years. They're brilliant and I'm sure I can speak for everyone when I say thank you Man Moth! 🙌

the only episode where ricky is so annoying that even steve gets genuinely annoyed 😂

“Wandering around in his sandals getting pebbles stuck, that’s annoying. Nails in his hands that must’ve hurt”. Hahaha that is genius

Ricky at his worst and Karl at his most fed up in this one!

'Just reporting speech really, from James Hyman your boss... are you calling him a liar?!' Always cracks me up the way Ricky says this

The greatest thing about this episode is just picturing cab and van drivers across London listening to this live in 2003 for the first time with no prior knowledge of these 3 legends, what must they have thought 🤣
