Ayrton Senna’s McLaren Honda MP4/7A V12 from 1992 running as part of the Ignition GP programme demonstration at The Classic event at Silverstone 2022.

The car was driven at the event by Matt Wrigley and prepped by Front Row Racing. In period it was driven by Ayrton Senna #1 and Gerhard Berger #2.

    Driving those cars where physically so hard. Today they cruise around almost on auto pilot. In those days the skills on how to use the clutch the pedals, gear shifters and the car control of these extremely powerfull and unstable cars is what set them apart a the best era of drivers.
