I wouldn't be caught dead owning one of these 3 car brands, and I don't think you should buy them either. This is a tough video to make, because every car brand has some great things going for them, but these are the car brands to avoid.

Whether you're buying a luxury car, a performance car, an exotic car, or just an everyday car, there's a car for you. However, these are the car brands to avoid as far as I'm concerned.

They say Range Rovers are the most stylish and comfortable vehicle you can sit in while waiting for the tow truck. 😅

Range Rover has had problems forever...it's amazing what they charge for them...

Range Rover definitely turns heads while mechanics turn wrenches 🔧 😂 Great review Mark have a fabulous week 🇨🇦

Been driving Hyundais and Kias for 6 years. Son has a 2003 Sonata with over 150,000 miles that runs smoothly. My 2017 Kia Cadenza has never had a problem except for a rattling passenger handle.
  • The only thing that doesn’t disappoint to work in those Range is the CHECK ENGINE LIGHT.

I took you up on the challenge to google the most recalled vehicles and Hyundai and Kia were not truly represented. Ram, Jeep, Tesla and surprisingly, Porshe dominated all the lists.

I’m driving a 20 year old Hyundai Sonata GLS and it doesn’t owe me a dime. Love this car. Just under 100,000 miles, comfortable and solid drive. Was thinking of trying the 2024 Kia Seltos, but not after hearing all the bad reviews, CVT trans & price. I prefer to stay with auto trans so will likely look at the Mazda lineup. But I really hate those ridiculous tablets sitting on the dashboards of cars today.

I have had 2 mildly used Hyundais and a Genesis never hand any issues with them while I owned it. For me the brand I would never own is Fiat

My 2017 Kia Soul has had zero problems in six years. One recall I can remember. Best car I ever bought. Been driving for 50 years.

I have had a much different experience with Hyundai. I owned a 2007, 2013, 2017 Elantra and a 2020 Sonata and they all have been very good cars. The 2007 was totaled in a wreck but kept my daughter safe. The 2013 Elantra is being driven by her and has around 145,000 miles on it with very little going wrong. The 2017 Elantra has 51,000 on it and the 2020 Sonata around 36,000 on it and both have been extremely reliable, trouble free with great gas mileage. Hyundais have very good safety ratings as well. I wouldn't keep buying them if they were as much trouble as you say, just adding my two cents!
  • I remember the Hyundai Pony. I didn’t see too many which caught on fire because here in Canada they rusted out well before they caught on fire.

Our Hyundai (note the Y) has been excellent. Reliable, economical.

I had a 2018 Kia Optima and it was one of the best vehicle I've owned. Put 60k on it in 18 months and not one issue. Traded it in on a 2019 Ram Classic. I'd take the Kia any day although I had zero issues with the Ram I drove for 3 years.

I drive a 2007 Santa Fe with 135K on it and it is the most reliable car I have ever owned. There was a recall on the valve cover gasket leaking onto the alternator but Hyundai covered the repair in full.

I’ve had several Jeeps (Wranglers and Grand Cherokee) that were some of the most reliable and most comfortable vehicles I’ve owned. I agree the Renegades and Cherokees are junk but my last Wrangler I put 168,000 trouble free miles on and the new owner is still driving it every day.

😢 I partially agree. I have a wonderful Hyundai with 480,000 miles. It is running fine. The only reason that it doesn't have more miles is that there is a long term code causing me difficulty in smog. I've Driven KIA and HYUNDAI since 2000. Will over 200,000 miles on each.
  • Our 2014 Red Grand Cherokee Jeep SRT running great and love the inside splendor. Do not understand the hate on the Jeep.
  • @jamesbradham9731
I have a 10 year old Kia Sorento v6. I am glad I never bought the 4cyl engine. I have not had issues with my car except the steering wheel controls that sporadically fail. Other than that it has never failed mechanically.
  • @SiRasputin
Disagree on the Hyundai/Kia designation. i can think of at least 4 italian car brands that are far more unreliable. Learnt to drive stick in an Excel. It was fine. Kia Sorrento is a fantastic car as are the Hyundai Palisades. Warranty is great and they don't have major issues. I was surprised to find them featured here.
