Subscribe for videos with my boyfriend! bit.ly/mallow610 Finally got the strength to come out to my mom. My Mom has been extremely supportive. I could not ask for anyone else. Love you :) Every circumstance is different and you will know when the right time to come out is. Stay strong. Babz and I are here for you. :) Note: I decided to post this so that I could share my experience with you. Hopefully it will give hope to those who do not have such supportive families. Also, I know I am on my phone the whole time. My phone is my comfort blanket. I literally cannot put it down when I'm anxious. I do not mean any disrespect to the content or conversation. OH, and she didn't know she was being recorded. I put the camera in a tissue box on top of the refrigerator.

Am I the only one on a 'coming out' video binge. I'm not even gay and just find them very empowering. Good luck to everyone struggling with their sexual orientation.
  • Guys don't judge him for being on his phone. He was probably very nervous, I know because I do that all the time.

Mom: You're moving! You're not moving? I don't want you to move...
  • Your mom's reaction almost made me cry. I wish everyone's parents were like this.

Your mom needs to make YouTube videos telling other moms how to be good, loving, and open minded moms like her!

I really wish my coming out experience went as well as this. It was a total disaster with my parents.
  • Her reaction is how all parents should act when they learn this stuff, instead hating them or kicking them out
  • i am 13 and i decided to tell my parents im BI ... it suked .. i should have waited... my mom put me in counseling and my dad doesnt  tell me he loves me anymore.. it was the worst mistake ever.. my parents think i'm a whole different person now.. they treat me like im different.. they hate me and i fucked up my life at 13.. ..

I cried when I watched this video because it reminded me of the day I told my mom, and her reaction was so similar and full of love. Her biggest concern too, was the world and how I would be treated. My mom vowed to protect me and always did until God called her home on March 1, 2007. Her body was found in a dumpster, where she was left by the man who raped and beat her to death. I miss my mom, and the thought of life without her is...I just cannot imagine it. Seven years later the pain and loss has not eased, but seeing your Mom reminded me of mine, and I love your mom so much for being kind and embracing you the way she did. I wish you both all the happiness in the world. Mothers like ours are what make this world bearable.
  • Your mum is the the sweetest thing I've ever seen. I'm so happy it went well. (^o^)

your Mom is amazing.  Whatever has been going on for you for "4 years," you really need to take care of her emotionally.  I can hear it in her voice, how she wants you to open up to her.

It is a touching video, however, and I don't want to be a troll, it's kinda rude to be on your phone when you're having a serious conversation with your mom.

This made me cry, right away when she gave him a hug. I just watched the "How not to react when your child tells you he's gay" and seeing this mom's reaction warmed my heart. She seems like a very sweet mother, I needed to see some humanity today ♥
