For optimal use/preserve health ratio charge from 30 to 85%. Never leave phones/tablets/laptops in direct sunlight or in a hot car. Look through your settings, you might find a "limit battery charge" option. Some laptops have a battery utility program that allows you to stop charging once the battery reaches a certain percentage. This is especially useful for people who almost never disconnect their laptop from the charger. Set it to 50-65%, if you're one of those people, since this is the best charge state for stored lithium ion batteries. Only fast charge when you're in a hurry. Follow this advice strictly and enjoy >95% capacity after 2 years.

The information is all over the place. You should probably try to organize your thought a little more coherent.
  • I just ordered the S22 Ultra and I'm upgrading from my Galaxy S10. I went through the battery health and phone health application on my S10 and it clearly told me that the battery is weak and it needs to be replaced. So this sparked my interest and made me wonder was there anything that I did over the years that caused the battery to be in such poor condition. For a majority of my phone's lifespan It was fast charged. About a year to 2 years ago I stopped fast charging my phone and started using a regular wattage charger. Hopefully that gave my battery a little bit more life but it's time to trade up. Thank you for posting this video This really help me.

Unfortunately, I found your video a little too late. I used to keep my phone plugged in during the day not even thinking I was damaging the battery. Long story short, my battery swelled and busted the back off of my phone. So, I just replaced the battery and the back glass. Thank you for this information! Now I know what to do to maximize the lifespan of my new battery!

I always charge upto 80% when home, upto 90% before going out.
  • @Chemy.
I'm still using the honor 10 since London 2018, so, the battery is showing it age now, not carrying enough power for the whole day, but the phone is running very good
  • Also having the ability in laptops and tablets to prevent them from charging above 50%-80% could be extremely useful for preserving the longevity of the batteries when you are using the devices plugged into external power sources for long periods of time! :)

I'm so glad google brought adaptive charging to my pixel 5. Still going to be sitting at 100% for a little.bit before I wake up but at least it's only there for a shorter period of time compared to many hours of sleep

Have you ever held the ZenFone 7 Pro? - it also has the battery cap you can set to 80 or 90 %>
  • @gonens6056
I have a charging valet he handles charging for me I need to ask him
  • @bikersoncall
What about just getting off the phone for an hour or so, should we wait 20 minutes or so for it to cool before charging?
  • @bigmaxcc
I charge from 0 to 100 Always been that way
  • @Johnnyiswhere
I usually charge my phone from 30 to 90 percent daily.
  • Just use your phone how you want and pay for a replacement if its bad it doesn't cost much
  • @KDG50
Yes the video was extremely helpful. Thank you.
  • @syedhazimzafir

  • Thank you for delivering content coming from a trusted source! There are YouTubers, which I shouldn't name provides click-bait contents and contents that aren't exactly true!

To bring you up to speed my S21 Ultra is able to be charged with a 45 watt charger in about 55 minutes and the phone is never hot it's just normal neutral and it's because the charger that I buy are the ones that control the heat and they have a type of air conditioning unit inside their charging system which cools it off some phones do too but the thing that I wanted to mention is that my phone never gets hot and if it gets a little warm it's about as much as it gets and I'm using a 45 watt charger.
  • @polska905
It doesn't really matter, yes the battery will be healthier if you don't charge to 100%, my s20fe is still at 94% battery health and was working perfectly untill I updated the phone... Manufacturing are killing phones with updates.
