Dr Felton is like a favourite teacher who fascinates you with beyond what is written in the textbooks.

I honestly can't remember the last time I watched such a well made and informative documentary of this length. 90 mins flew by. Top notch stuff.

my uncle used to be super into WW2 stuff but life got a hold of him, I sent him one of your videos about a month ago and it’s been awesome to see him get back into it and talk things over with him. thanks for what you do

Mark, in terms of being an historian, you are a mensch. I cannot watch any other YouTube history channel, without question, without watching your work first. Thank you for making us all aware of the lessons of history and hopefully learning from thereof.

Smart move lumping all of these together. This was and still is an incredible series, one of my favorites from you, Mark.

All chores and tasks for the morning will simply have to wait 92 minutes. Good one Dr. Felton!

Historicity is a difficult thing to find in media nowadays. Thanks for being a top class historian with smooth delivery.
  • "Himmler didn't have his personal plane standing by to fly him to Sweden, Spain, Antarctica, or the moon" ROFL

i had no idea there was any problems with the official story of Himmler's death. Thank you again for your research into these historical happenings.

28:38 the fact that all this was going on, from an organizational standpoint is astounding. Not only that, to find out all this information after so many years is equally mind blowing.

Love this series, I work in truck driving & it’s great to listen & work. Appreciate your work 🙌🏾
  • Did I already watch the individual episodes? Yes. Am I gonna watch this one too? Yep. Keep up the great work Dr Felton!
  • Count Folke Bernadotte was a courageous and fascinating figure in WW2 and thereafter. I'd love to see you do a video about his tragic murder in 1948.

@Mark Felton Productions... Having the complete story in on place is absolutely perfect. Waiting on shorts was frustrating. I am overjoyed 😊
  • @gw7477
Your videos are so high quality. They're honestly better than what the old History Channel was (in the US) 20 years ago when it was about historical education and not a reality tv network. Thank You!
  • @kaiserachim1454
Next to realizing the war was lost in '45, I think the second worse realization Hitler had was how incompetent Himmler really was.

Cold and rainy day here too in San Diego. What a nice treat to have such a long video to watch from Mark. You are simply an amazing journalist, reporter, documenter, historian.... I am not really sure the word to combine them all but I always look forward to your work. I grew up with my grandparents and grandpa was a wwII soldier. I have learned so much from Mark's work than any other source of wwII, and I just wish I was able to talk to grandpa about how amazing he was to just survive it. I never got to hear very much from him about his experience, but I grew fascinated by wwII and have learned so much. Thanks again.

Any video made under Mark Felton’s name is a treasure, and shouldn’t be missed! Thank you, Mr. Felton!
