I genuinely think Hunter is one of the best written characters ever. I'm honestly shocked everytime I rewatched this to check it over and just how much he changed from his debut to King's Tide. It was so well written and believable and I'm excited to see where his character goes in the short s3 we're gonna get. My favorite episodes if anyone wanted to know is Hollow Mind, Hunting Palismen and Any Sport in a Storm. Those episodes in particular are just so good for his character development and had the best moments. I do wish we got to see him as the golden guard one more time before Hunting Palismen cause I enjoyed his nonchalant evilness at that time lol I hope we get another fight scene for him in s3 as well cause I love his fighting style so much. anyway I'm gonna stop rambling. Before anyone asks yes I am in therapy.

The fact that Caleb Wittebane was Philip's older brother that wouldn't do what he wanted so he made a young and impressionable copy that he could control is so fucked but such great writing!

The way Zeno does Hunter’s voice is amazing, the voice cracks really emphasize the fact that Hunter is just a 16 year old boy, and the sass is incredible!

Belos is right about one thing though. He would always fail at making the perfect Golden Guard. Because no matter how much he cared, he couldn't stop his brother from falling in love with The Boiling Isles every single time.

Believe it or not, I miss golden gard Hunter. Wish they kept him a few more episodes before the palisman episode. Other then that, amazing character development. Honestly, never really saw him as a villian though for some reason.
