As a black woman and a physician I applaud this young lady. And I pray and hope she is really enjoying being a kid as well.

Hats off to Momma🙌🏾🙏🏾❣️ She paid attention and nurtured her child’s natural talents. Congratulations 🎈

I’m torn between being extremely happy for this child & knowing what’s ahead and wanting her to enjoy childhood & not take on too much too fast. Wishing the best for her for her life & I hope she’ll have a good experience & it won’t force her to grow up too fast.

As a lady who got into med school young. I am proud of you girl!

She said her mom always "gave me opportunities over things." Such a profound statement from such an intuitive & impressive young lady

This is what happens when you encourage your kids that they can be anything they want. This is beautiful to see and God bless her.
  • Amazing! My only worries are the social/emotional impacts as medical school and residency are a whole different animal. It sounds like she has awesome support at home and hope she continues to have the social and institutional support as she progresses through each year. Hope for a very bright future (and time to be a kid as well)!

This is a HUGE achievement, I really admire her for being able to do this at such a young age. I love that she can be an example for many other young girls of color. However, I’m a bit worried as she’s still just a kid and we all know how med school is. Regardless, I wish her the best!
  • I’m so stunned by her intelligence, character, the way she articulates herself in conversation, and how she presents herself with confidence. I’m so proud of her!! 🥹💕🙏🏾

Love that her Mom said she knew she was gifted and understood that she needed to "Nurture her gifts." So beautiful! Inspiring. ❤❤❤

This is beyond amazing. I’m almost 20 and fighting to even get a small chance to get into med school. She is INCREDIBLE!

These are the types of people we should be looking up to, not models and tiktok stars. What an inspiring girl! Wishing her all the best. 💕

I work in an engineering college office. I have had people say they don’t want their daughters to come into engineering because They thought it was too manly or they thought it was dirty. All those people are wrong and we need more women in science.
  • @tiseytise
So proud of this young lady! It all starts with a good mother that stuck with her side since she was a baby! Congratulations to the two of them!
