You are by far the best d&d channel out there. Good work.
-
Came back here 7 years later to tell again how inspiring this video was to me, thx Hankrin!
-
I'm a huge fan of the way you solved the maze problem with nothing but creativity and a d6. I'd been stuck on that for a while.
-
I am totally ripping that 1d6 maze idea! When last we left my PC's, they had decided that in the morning they were to visit, after an unnerving encounter with a corrupted wizard, the site where his old tower once stood before it disappeared a decade ago. The tower gone and a large void left where it once stood, I think they'll find an old backdoor somewhere that leads to the maze! Thanks for the inspiration Hankerin!

Great stuff Hankerin! Things I will definitely use from this: the map-less maze D6 generation The mutation stone concept The way you set up running Molok with spells and blink circles with the random teleports. Makes running the boss battle much more enjoyable for every one!!! Keep killing it!
-
Wow the mutation stone is like the coolest thing ever!
-
I'm just stopping by your latest video to tell you how much I love you, Hank. In the last month I've been rabidly linking your videos in the 5e Facebook group because man, those guys need guidance big time and every time I rewatch the one I link, I remember how much I love you. No homo man, real brother love. I adore what you do and how you deliver it. Never stop being awesome!
-
I actually used the maze mechanic, for my solo dungeon crawler... but I used a d8 instead to add a couple more extra nasties. But thanks for being the best DnD channel, I have got a lot of inspiration for my one shots or mini campaigns.
-
your enthusiasm is inspiring!
-
Man! If you make that maze mechanic more random (like change the roll that cuts off by rolling one yourself, the DM, after one cutoff happens) and deadly, it is an awesome DCC funnel encounter. Your videos always spring ideas right up. Keep up the good work and get us more index card RPG volumes, man!
-
Awesomeness... Delivered.
-
Dude, just have to say I'm blown away! You are da bomb!
-
That's diabolical!!!! love it, you sir inspire me to no end.
-
Great! MORE D&D! The manual echo is HILARIOUS after some beers.
-
The video is an absolute blast. The d6 in Molok's lair, like so many ideas across the videos, is such a huge gift. Thanks a lot Hankerin!
-
Wish I could Like this more than once.

Whaat.. no drink? Great show, and awesome series of encounters. I'll be trying this setup out for a new group of players. My favourite part is still the start.. no gear and a slow progression. Survival fantasy!
-
I’ve done this before, using the old 2e dmg dungeon generator (you know, before PC personal computers)...I didn’t have the players split up, but if they went north, they ran into a River, if they went south they ran into the boss mob/Minotaur, if they made it west they got out...it works!
-
Nice! More room, monster and environment designs are what I'm here for.
-
Good stuff! The mutation stone and the mapless maze are especially cool. I also laughed way too long at the offhand comment about the box being full of dog hair.
