Any other non-Floridians here?! What’s your experience!? 🥰 anything you agree with me on or have a different experience?

Definitely an interesting watch, absolutely sick of the winters in England and would love to spend the winters in Florida.
  • I'm from Yorkshire but have a lot of happy childhood memories of Florida, really nice people and there's always something to do, plus the weather is great
  • This is such a good video! It's good to know this I'd love to live abroad in the future you seem so lovely

Hey Rosie, great video! It was very helpful. I'm moving to Orlando from London next week, and I was wondering how long it took you to get your driving license from the time you completed the written test to the time you completed the practical driving test.

Lol....I loved hearing your thoughts on living in Florida. So excited to find another Florida person! I think people consider Florida drivers horrible in the cities especially Orlando because there are so many tourists. I agree with you. The portion sizes here in the U.S. is much bigger. The sweet potato casserole is a southern dish! 😁 it’s really good if it’s made properly. Lol....we survived the Florida summer to be able to live in our Florida winters. I actually used to live in the UK for a few years...and I am so very familiar with UK winters. It was shocking when I moved there in a January and it was pitch dark at 3 pm. It was a lot to get used to! Great overview! 😁

I randomly clicked on one of your youtube videos and it's very interesting and informative. I have lived in the U.S. for more than 20 yrs (half my life) and has been to Florida. It's a good State overall. But try visiting other places like CA. Not just LA. come down here in San Diego and i guarantee you'll like it here too. Thanks for the vids!

Great video, love your Midlands/ slight American twang that you have picked up! 👍👍..good luck to you. We go every year and would love to be able to move over and get work there, just seems so difficult to do and wouldn’t know where to start lol.

Oh also love the way you say winter.. awesome!!! Wintaaaa
  • Great video, thank you! I'm from New Jersey and now in London but I'm thinking of moving to Florida after living here for the past ten years.

Interesting to hear from someone who has moved out there what it's like! When we came earlier in the year we loved all the food options in the supermarkets but very little/ no vegan options in places like IHOP and cheesecake factory which was a shame, think the uk is a little ahead in that sense! But we loved wholefoods! I think I'd be the same, I'd miss the autumn leaves changing too and I do like winter but after Christmas it can get pretty depressing which is why we loved visiting florida in January!
  • Great video and insight my love thank you, I myself am moving to Miami from London for my beautiful American fiancé and as a born and bred Londoner and scaffolder that works hard im delighted you've found lots of opportunity out there and loving life ❤
  • @2heartsforme
Wow, I'm still young but in around 10 years I'll probably be moving to Florida, rn I live in England but I'm not quite from here but yeah- And I'm excited to see what Florida has! :D
  • This video was so helpful and I learned so much! Do you have any advice for a Brit that wants to permanently move to Florida?
  • @jeffhampton2767
When you live in a tropical area like Florida then you take vacation in the fall, say around beginning of October and you spend a week either in Vermont or New England to see the colorful trees, or you go to Pennsylvania to see the beautiful colors, and maybe go to the Amish Dutch Country that would make you feel like you're in Europe.

Hey Rosie, I'm a Brit who moved to Wisconsin about 7 years ago 😊The seasons are nice but the best ones (Spring & Fall) are short and Winters are BRUTAL at times, and as I get older it's definitely going to be a factor. I'm thinking about either the east of west coast of Florida, do you think you'll be happy there long term or are the negatives leading you to want to move eventually? Mosquitos are a bane in WI too, my logic is that the coastal FL breeze will help there... or is that wishful thinking? 😆
  • My mom is originally from England born and raised has lived in Florida for 50 years South Florida me being the American daughter there’s many differences that I see never thought of the cars though but I don’t know just totally different locations in general and since I was raised in Florida and went back-and-forth to England as a child I just see it is totally different locations but it’s an interesting outlook from a younger brits perspective because my mom is course is older.
