Your Pup is super cute. The best way to train him quickly is to get him on a schedule. Change out to pee pad as often as you can once he's used it. If you can start now by taking him outside after he eats or wakes up, he'll look forward to that grass and not that pee pad. It will take time and patience though.

Hey Momma, I know as you stated this is your first. Find him a good supplement also try not to give him too much grain. Relax when he does and when he wakes, straight to a designated pee spot. During the night wake him up every 2 hours and limit his fluids after 7pm. Even though you won't want wake him while he is sleeping so sweetly your going to have to. Poodles are extremely smart. Keep him entertained and wear him out so that sleep will be a cake walk. If you have any questions feel free to ask. Put him on YOUR schedule, meaning you set the guidelines. Find a treat small and soft, that is when you teach him when he potty praise him and while he goes, give him the treat and say good boy! Or yess good job.

From my experience dogs don't like using the bathroom where they sleep and where they eat. So if you have problems potty training find another designated place for him to use it.
