We're rounding-up the best PC cases we saw coming up for the rest of 2023, all from Computex. These still need to go through our reviews process, but we think they're among the most promising or interesting. Last time we did a round-up, mesh and airflow cases were gaining popularity. That's still the case, but now more than ever we are seeing divergent, new designs that leverage the additional necessary width to accommodate GPUs in order to fit more 140mm fans, new case features, rotated GPU slots, rotated motherboards, and more. Case makers are also playing around with more alternative materials to metal now, with wood, leather, and vinyls. We'll have another Best Cases round-up once we finish testing for the year, of course! The round-up for now looks at best airflow cases, best modularity or unique features, best home server and drive supporting cases, and more.

There was a HUGE amount of cases at the show this year. This was a lot of work to put together with the amount of footage and booth visits we needed, but we're excited to have a condensed look at what's coming up. This is basically a "what we're reviewing the rest of the year" list! Lots of exciting stuff coming out. SUPPORT OUR INDEPENDENT REPORTING! I'd imagine the script to this video was called... the best case scenario. :D
  • @Gennys
The morpheus case might be a little too big for me, but I do like that they added those little pegs that you put into the case to make some pixel art. I just think that's super cool that they would even think to do that.

I adore the bold look on the DUBILI. Those allen key screws everywhere almost tempt you to open it and mess around. I love design language like that.

Currently building in the Fractal Torrent. Hope it turns out as planned

Mentioning the Calyos Kickstarter campaign for the Streacom passive case isn't something I expected but it's that next level attention to detail that GN always brings. Loved all of the Computex coverage this year!
  • I saw the montech stuff on a live stream and was pretty impressed, especially with the combo of quality and price. They had some case options that I thought for sure were going to be well over $100 that were closer to $60, and even the ones that were at or over that $100 range, seemed to be cases that other companies would be charging a lot more for. They even talked a lot about just wanting to offer people nice case options at more affordable prices and they seemed to be sincere.

My very favorite video series! Yalls case reviews were what introduced me to the channel. Airflow and cooling is the most interesting part of PC building to me.
  • @aaron_333
Love the front mounted GPU! I love how case manufacturers are trying to solve the challenges of thicker and longer GPUs, which cause issues with the PCIe slot layouts on older motherboards by using the case to relocate the GPU to a location that also takes advantage of cool intake air.
  • @ervmattlim
When will you do a 2023 or 2024 best cases?
  • @bkslsh
I LOVE the flat-packed case idea. They could easily design it so that it's as expandable as needed. Almost like a computer erector set.
  • @polie67
Still waiting for a 2023 roundup!
  • @JoeCensored
Last time I had an Antec case it was AT form factor. Back when they were one of the only premium case makers. I'm hoping their comeback is successful.
  • @supra107
I just recently got the Fractal Design Pop Air, however before that I had a case from 2014 with non-existant airflow so any modern case would've been a major upgrade. Though the stock Fractal fans are weak, I'll need to get more P12's.
  • @Gennys
The SUP 01 having a fan array on the back is actually a really neat idea. I can see it making a big difference in the way they design cases for showing off the parts and could allow for three sides of the case to be completely transparent.
  • @QuasiMonkey
The Morpheus pixel art accessory is pretty cool and a genius idea. Would be awesome to see it done on a side panel with vents partially on the bottom half of the panel for the GPU, where it would be more visible for desk mounted PC's. The dual color scheme with the teal looks terrific too. Being able to pick a dual tone color set would be so cool.
  • @unifairsum21
I love how case companies are opening up to more color options other than white black and silver
  • Fractal makes beautiful cases, absolute love my North case, I bought it as soon it was back in stock
  • I love that you listed all of the cases in your description - it would have been nice to see MSRP listed next to them, but i can afford to look that up. thanks for the video!
  • @EmoEmu
It's really cool to see all these insanely sweet cases set to show up. Best time ever to be a case enthusiast.
