  • This is a great wall to show someone new to rock walls what not to do. Wall is over 4' obviously so it had to be engineered. The installer did not follow spec details.

I appreciate all the knowledge you share with us!

Awesome video I’ve been following your videos for a while now and your work is spot on I noticed some of the joints were running a couple of rows up and that’s not good also keep the videos coming in

You get what you pay for. “Chuck in a Truck” must have built this wall 😂
  • Very good critique and I think your best point is about kids crawling all over it. You can see all those houses right near the wall so you can pretty much know there will be kids on it. Let’s just hope none get injured, or worse, from it.

Man you hit home when you said "the developer said we were too much". I deal with the same nonsense. Then the same developers have the eggs to call me for help fixing mistakes of other cheaper subs!

You get what you pay for. That’s definitely the difference between someone that knows what they’re doing and somebody who doesn’t. The way builders throw up big developments around us and the speed they build at, I’d bet you could find some sloppy workmanship in the landscaping and homes.
  • You're very passionate about doing a good job but you know what the hell with somebody Elsa's old jobs that they are already done paid for with the city or whoever deal with it later don't worry about it

Engineer wall and the engineer never showed up to inspect the wall 😅
  • @bagomoyo
Wow, a royal flash of what-not-to-do job execution. A minor earthquake will prove the quality if it ever hit the area.
  • Doesn't look like the bottom course is buried at all!! Just set on the dirt!
  • # tail light guarantee # can't see it from my house # job security for the guy who does it right. Developers taking the low bid and then leaving the HOA with a mess they will have to clean up after the next hard rain.

The person that built that clearly had an allergy to hammers and chisels.

Nice job critiquing someones work without embarrassing them. We all learn by doing, and there's no shame in learning.
