Absolutely incredible.... Hard to believe no one has commented on how amazing this share was for over 5 years?!

Thanks for the inspiring techniques. For those that didn't notice, Teela is using analogous colors for this (colors that are close to each other on the color wheel). This helps avoid the paint from mixing to brown.

I loved that demonstration, especially the 3rd one.

I love the first trick. It would go very well with a quote on top,a name or just doodles. Thanks for sharing!
  • We’re fortunate to have an innovator and creative such as you in our midst. Congratulations for a job well done.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Teela -- really enjoyed this demo. I'll definitely be trying this soon on a couple of paintings I have that need saving. I think one of these techniques will help me finish my two landscapes.

Teela, I love you. You've shown me what I have done by accident and could not reproduce! All because I didn't understand/know what I was doing"guess you could call them happy accidents" But knowing how to reproduce these effects ... Wonderful.
  • @conkgord
That was really good. Straightforward and educational. Thanks
  • The 1st stroke using the big brush it looks like a lake with the reflection of the trees or bushes. The 2nd one with the long piece of cardboard looks like a person running, and the second part of the long cardboard looks like a beach with red water and rocks on the sand. The last stroke with the little cardboard looks like a lake with the reflection of lights or floating lanterns. I love these tricks
  • I was looking for some ideas. I want to recycle a large canvas! You certainly came through for me. Thank you!!
  • @deniseshaw3871
Really interesting given me an idea for a contemporary landscape ! Thank you
  • @juanluzzi1736
Thank you Teela. I think technique 3 is great for painting landscapes, for example, hill sides seen form the distance.

I wanted stripes but had no idea how to combine these colors..thank you thank you!! Now for the cardboard...LOVE IT! And you are a great instructor

Oh my gosh, I love this video. I just used trick number 1 in the painting I was working on. Wow - it really added to the painting. I am excited to watch more of your videos. Thanks so very much!!!
