Van Zyl’s Pass in Namibia! A mistake here has major consequences.

It’s time to descend. This is the team's most remote, off-road 4x4 route of the trip, located in the vast, untouched wilderness of Namibia.

Dr. Jon is unexpectedly called for a medical issue, and the roads of Namibia strike again.

A true highlight of my Overlanding career! Such a wonderful to be a part of!
  • Thank you for joining us for episode 6! Following Van Zyl’s path in Namibia was an amazing journey.
  • I'm South African and I haven't been to the Van Zyl summit yet, I've heard about it, I want to go now. The pictures probably don't do justice compared to seeing it with your own eyes. The beauty of God's creation, I love it!
  • Pretty amazing to be able to video call a doctor from such a remote location. Starlink is a lifesaver.
  • great job guys helping the young girl, this is humanity at its best. much love

You guys have done a really great job with this series. Congratulations on an epic run!
  • Another amazing episode! It so wonderful that you could help that little girl with her arm. I hope it heals well! The statues along the way are interesting! Would be so cool to learn their real meanings.
  • @Oregu7
This episode was a pinnacle of editing and writing for me, and a masterclass for the masterless. Great job! I thoroughly enjoyed it, as I do all your productions.
  • After watching XOverland for a few years it’s always amazing what you can learn. I was amazed, in the last two episodes, to learn that one of my distant relatives was an explorer in southern Africa. We didn’t know that until last Sunday and when I sent the kids a screen shot of the summit of Van Zyls pass they were thrilled. Thanks for sharing your experiences. Oh, and thank you for pronouncing our name correctly.

Of all the overland videos out there, yours is by far the best, most epic, and entertaining. Thanks for sharing your adventures!
  • What Epic timing, Braai almost done and I will be chilling at watching you guys and Girls Enjoying Africa .( Lekker Braai ) Justin Stark
  • I've been watching your videos for several years now and I'm a huge fan. I've already been overlanding in Africa many times. I love the African style of overlanding and I'm also a huge fan of the US overlanding scene. You're such a very likeable team and it's so much fun to watch this series. Seeing how you deal with problems and seeing how the American overlanding style combines with the South African style. Traveling and overlanding is one of the best ways for people to understand each other. What you've done here and how you do it cannot be valued highly enough in these difficult times. It's great that you have some of the best South African overlanders by your side. If I ever ship my Jeep from Bavaria to the USA (the plan is still there!) then I'll visit you in Montana. Best wishes from south Munich, Bavaria, Germany🍺
  • I'm enjoying this series so much and wishing to be there right now❤ love this series
