Fly Fishing the Serene Winter Headwaters of the Great Smoky Mountains

Published 2024-03-02
Between late Winter and early Spring weather patterns, I set out to explore some high elevation streams in the Great Smoky Mountains that I have been wanting to explore for some time now. I was greeted by a beautiful snow and some beautiful native brook trout.

  • Solid video. Winter time flyfishing for wild trout isn’t easy most days. A couple of fish is a victory and you got to be outside in Gods glory.

Really enjoy your videos. Love fishing small streams for brook trout. I live in Northeast Alabama would love to fish with you sometime. Keep sending these videos.

Good stuff! I have been a subscriber of your channel for about a year and enjoy your content. You seem to be migrating toward what I do the most is chase the wild native brookies of NC. I find the winter time provides a good time to get out exploring new water. If you catch something it is icing on the cake. I have several adventures on my channel chasing native brookies. Check them out one day. Tight lines!
