I was just watching one of my favorite lap steel channels and I saw someone playing an Alkire Eharp like a lap steel guitar. I've only known about eharps for a few weeks but somehow it didn't dawn on me someone could just string it up with a lap steel 10-string tuning and go to town. Make perfect sense.
