One of the better movies I’ve seen in a while. I don’t even play D&D but you can tell they included a lot of high roll and low roll moments
-
If you missed Bradley Cooper you had to have left the theater for that whole scene because he is very clearly Bradley Cooper in teeny form lol
-
I'm pretty sure most people did not miss Bradley Cooper's cameo. I mean, his face wasn't altered at all. And he's not exactly an obsure actor.
-
I can't wait to see what they are going to do with this franchise. If done right and stays consistent, it can be done even better MCU.
-
2:52 when watching the movie, after holga saw her ex he started singing and she cheered up i was like thats 100% bardic inspiration
-
I never played the game before, but I thoroughly loved the movie.
-
Jokes on you. The Iron Throne was in Baldur's Gate, not Neverwinter. I used to pillage it when I played the homonymous game in the '90s.
-
I was excited to see the D&D cartoon characters that had uh cameo in it I was hoping they had uh end post credit scene & they need to make a spin off movie about them as well
-
It's a bit of a stretch saying that Neverwinter ripped off the design of King's Landing... Neverwinter campaign and GoT series were released withing months of each other.
-
If we wanna go full on "well technically" mode, the displacer beast seems to be making the illusions be more then 3 feet away. And the movie makes it seem like he's projecting the image using the tentacles, while the tentacles are just an attack method, the bend light is something covering his entire skin.

Great analysis, you know your stuff! Glad you mention the other races too like the Silver Dragonborn ( dragonborns IS my favs AND underrated, Fizban book made them better so go pick one of 5 per Chromatic, Gem or Metallic when playing D&D ). You know its a silver because its based on the neuanced Dragonborn from Fizbans treasury of Dragon source book. Not the player handbook stamdard sub race which is more metallic/ chromatic blend. Again alot of great tidbits...Except 1!!⚠️.. Simon didnt cast magic missile! That spell NEVER miss. Think someone said it was magical/ frost daggers. Something along those lines
-
she definitely also wild shaped too much xD
-
I need a watch this though ...
-
Elminster hadn't passed away and Bradley Cooper is credited at the end...
-
There is no such Spell School as Chronomancy. Time Stop is a Transmutation Spell
-
lol how is it a hidden detail that Bradly Cooper had a role. It's not some background character with one line, he had a full scene where he was the focus.
-
Antlers and some horns grow back
-
This was a really good film 🎉
-
They finally had a black dragon with the correct breath weapon it only took them 18 years

I missed a lot, I'm a pretty passive/casual DnD fan. My friend who I saw it with pointed out some of the little easter eggs
