Truly one of the nicest guys in the sport. You can do it Tony, show the young kids how a Southwick legend can find the fast way around the Wick.
  • I grew up racing with Tony since the late 90’s. Ive seen him qualify for southwick more times than I can count. I say YES!! He can do it. Guy is a freak of nature on two wheels

I used to race Tony in NESC and he for sure always beat me. I will be cheering for him this weekend! It was so much fun racing Southwick in the expert class the weekend before the Southwick national. A lot of pro's would come race with us to get accustomed to the track. It was especially fun because I got to beat a bunch a pro's on our beautiful treacherous Southwick track that we New Englanders love and adore. Thanks Keith Johnson and everyone else for keeping Southwick alive!

Tony Lorusso is a savage. He is one of the coolest dudes in the sport. He was always willing to have a conversation in the pits. Never brushed people off. Glad to see him still laying down fast laps. YOu cant help but want to see him succeed. Truly a nice guy who deserves this.
  • 57 here, I can’t imagine. Super gnarly if he makes it, definitely be cheering Tony on Saturday✊🏻

Tony Lorusso born - 4/20/1972 Mike Brown born - 5/1/1972 I believe both will qualify this year breaking the records. Unfortunately for Tony tho, I hear Brownie is planning on trying to qualify after Lorettas this year (probably in one of the last 3 races) so he will technically be older at time of qualifying if they both succeed. Rooting for both of them. Awesome to see, especially for us older moto guys! Great video thanks for sharing! Hopefully one will qualify 250's and the other 450's so both records stand for both classes
  • He will definitely get in he still kicks the butt of most of the local riders that made it into southwick before.

My eyes how I witnessed Tony when I was about age 11 or 12 at Capeway Rovers. I remember watching Tony race a KX105 bigwheel in the 125 A-class around 1986 timeframe. He must’ve been about 14 back then. All eyes were on Tony Lorusso that day as he dominated the 80 class on his 80, and then heavily competed in 125 class on his bigwheel. It was more than exciting to watch Tony. That same day JoJo Keller was racing his CR250 which was also total domination. From this special day for myself, I was addicted to Moto for “life”.
  • That’s so cool! I’m so psyched that came across my feed. It makes me more fired up to ride both the tracks he owns! Go Tony!
  • Yup, that’s my boy right there and he definitely will qualify. Fantastic racer, humble human being and very proud to call him my friend…LETS GOOOOO

I absolutely think he has what it takes. We ride at his facilities all the time. Good luck Tony..... The Sams
  • will be watching - I think it will be tough for Tony to crack that field but it's his back yard so give it a shot!
  • I ride at Tony’s track every weekend, he still makes it look easy!
