I played in-utero in my car everyday while I was in highschool and this was my favorite song. That sloppy gainey intro chord just blows me away every time. Makes me reflect on how much of a mess I was, and this was like 2 years ago...

That first chord changed my entire world when I first heard this song at 12 years old. Suddenly I realised there was an entire world of music out there besides what I would hear on the radio or TV.

It seems so unfair to me that everyone else I know gets to still enjoy their favorite bands and musicians live, while I sit here knowing a 5th album will never come in my life or ever. Depressing.

Nirvana really captured a RAW SOUND on this album. Less hits than Nevermind, but much more listenable on repeat after decades of hearing these tracks.

As a youngster I didn't tell anyone I adored the Beatles. Turns out, Kurt Cobain was a HUGE Beatles fan.

I fell in love with nirvana when I was 12. People were like you will find better music as you grow up and im here to tell you nirvana is the better music.

In utero reminds me of the beginning of 8th grade. When i finally got to see my friends and my girlfriend. Im 14 and nirvana is one of my favorite bands. Serve the servants is one of my favorite songs of all time. The first time i heard in utero was in august of 2023 when i just entered 8th grade. R.I.P. Kurt Cobain

Man, 90s alternative rock is whole new dimension.
