I watch two groomers regularly, you and Girl With the Dogs. She uses an equigroomer to get all that hair. She's groomed quite a few huskies. I'm going to order one, an equigroomer 😁

My dog is an Alaskan Klee Kai as well, but red and white. She is the sweetest, but the most stubborn dog I've ever owned. Pomskies are actually bred by Huskies and Pomeranians (the first round would most likely be artificial insemination until they get the desired size and then they breed the next generations together etc.), not with AKK's. Alaskan Klee Kai's are a pure breed that were originally bred between four different breeds of dogs in the 1970s. They are very unique dogs, and not for inexperienced dog owners as they are very husky-like, just pint-sized making them good for small homes/apartments. They do sing the songs of their ancestors just in a higher pitch.

One time I saw a very tiny Klee Kai and the owner said the dog was a pom Klee Kai cross. Klee Kais are a purebred, but they were bred from poms, huskies, schipperke, and American Eskimos.

What a cutie! Reminds me of my fur baby I had to rehome in Alaska when we moved out to hot California (she ended up in a DREAM family rest assured)! People would always ask if my husky was a Klee Kai. No, just runt of the litter! She had one blue eye and one half brown/blue and was barely bigger than this one here - just fluffier. She ran into the family’s backseat, plopped next to their baby, my pup looked over at it, gave it one big but gentle pup smooch, and waited to “go home.” My girl knew she was joining not only a family but they both worked a local (Alaska) vet office and came with a handsome husky boy she was instantly head over heels for. Thanks for the memory! I bet Evie Lynn led the best life, she’d be about 14 human years now. PS, a Klee Kai will set you back at least $2000.

around 30 seconds, she was clamouring to get you to keep patting her. I LOVE “grandma” fragrances. They’re usually powdery, which is lovely, and reminds me of going to the theatre, when you could smell the scent of the stage makeup, wafting out from the actors under the bright, warm lights. Younger people raised on a never-ending conveyor belt of ghastly fruity florals have unsophisticated noses. 😄

I love Klee Kais! I used to work at a doggie daycare and we had a regular Klee Kai named Clipper. He was the literal embodiment of a husky in a tiny body except he would menacingly stare at you 😂

I own a Klee Kai! OFC I know about Klee Kai’s! My dog Ruby is ALWAYS mistaken as a baby husky. The breeder we got Ruby at gave us a leash that said “I’m an Alaskan Klee Kai” so people wouldn’t mistake Ruby as a husky. Ruby is stubborn but in reality they’re awesome! This video makes me feel awesome knowing that somebody is aware of the Alaskan Klee Kai community and the breed!
