The world's first supercharged Corvette E-Ray certainly puts down some impressive power numbers. 734 wheel horsepower and 793 lb-ft of torque to the wheels to be exact. Built by @ParagonPerformance and @LingenfelterLPE , this pushes the quickest ever Corvette into top tier supercar and borderline hypercar levels of acceleration. But what was even more impressive was how drivable the car was, being able to use the power and have the car behave on the street was properly awesome. Enjoy my review of the Supercharged E-Ray and check out the car's IG too!

There have been many comments about the transmission and clutches on the car. As mentioned in the video, when I drove it, the car wasn’t 100% dialed in. It went straight back to Lingenfelter for more calibration work. The 3rd to 4th gear was not the clutch slipping. Other moments were wheelspin induced. I’ve driven another aftermarket forced induction C8 and the shifting was orders of magnitude worse than this. It’s challenging to tune these cars. Thanks to everyone for watching the video!

It’s too bad that the TCU still isn’t unlocked. You can hear that transmission struggling.

No comments on the massive clutch slipping we can clearly hear? Amazing car but there’s a big problem there.

Id smoke the taillights out.. Change up the color a little bit.
  • I love turbos, but supercharger has a linear torque band like an NA engine, and the punch of the electric motors is a great combo. That thing has 200 lb-ft of torque per wheel!!! The tires are all important.
  • @neuronbob
4:27 that transmission probably does not have long to live...
  • @kurtthomas4746
Yea, unfortunately I am afraid he’ll be sorry that they didn’t upgrade the clutch, hope I am wrong, unless he just babies it, beautiful build either way!
  • Great review of the Supercharged E-Ray! Glad we we're able to get it into your hands for a proper review and breakdown. Your non stop smile really shows what this car is about! - Justin
  • Awesome meeting you at the Bash this year, Eddie. Great review of an insane car!! Hope to meet up in the future!

Amazing car, great build crew and an awesome owner! True “hot rodding” moving forward!

Nice to see a review from a C8 z06 owner! Go GM C8 platform is absolutely amazing punching way above it's class in Performance Engineering! Comparing to a Ferrari Sf90 cost 6x as much 🎉!

It was pretty cool to see this get built behind the scenes😊
  • @JamaicanMeCrazy
Unrelated.. I've always thought if they just softened the edges this car would look so much better.
