Now this is awesome; I feel like I’m watching a professional play at a big theater. The music, the backstory, the scene, it’s practically Shakespearean now that I think of it. The tragedy of a king forced to do horrible things to save his people, wrestling with his conscience and his duty to his people. The tale of a child who, through their actions, has the power to determine the fate of an entire kingdom, forced to fight in this final, (classically) epic moment. A child pure and innocent versus a king who holds not just the responsibility for his kingdom, but for his entire race - who is their last hope for freedom, for a future. But, is the child an innocent forced to fight to the death, an avatar of vengeance, a flawed character, or a metaphorical monster who lives only to hurt others? It depends on the play.

This is false advertising. The song was already epic. This is epic-er. There is a difference.
