The comments about Dave Roberts are thought provoking. I'm fully on the Dave Roberts bandwagon; But I can understand the idea that something needs to change...I just think after watching baseball for over 50 years, that one of the best managers of the personalities, egos, overlapping streaks, slumps, hills, and valleys that are daily management of a 26-man roster that is literally changing daily, it's hard to think of someone better at managing it...navigating it. I think you could make the argument that if hadn't been for Dave Roberts this could have easily been a lost season, For that reason, walking away from a guy of his quality could be your biggest mistake as a front office.

Skip Schumacher isn't ready for another teardown? Because he has all these years of managerial experience. The guys managed a shit team for a few yrs. Don mattingly managed the same team.. and he has a decade worth of experience. If you have a ready to win now team you want someone with 2 years experience for a shit team or a guy with a decade worth of experience that has made it to the playoff several times. Paying your dues doesn't seem to exist anymore

It really should have been done after the 10th loss ..
  • The Dodgers are protected by MLB because MLB needs to protect success of big market teams. Also the Yankees fall in that category! If Ohtani was on a smaller market team he would likely have been suspended. And if the Dodgers were really a great team they would have filled out the team with better backup players! Just look at Padres last year they spent a lot, the Dodgers did the same this year (but double the amount) and they deserve to lose!! Maybe God is telling us money doesn’t buy success!
  • It’s not a cultural anything it’s a fact that you have a new GM he wants his guys and and Sizemore is his guy. I’m pretty sure Montoyo is dancing with happiness getting out from under that s … show.. Pedro is another story because I don’t think he ever had the ability to manage.

I get tired of people making excuses for the Dodgers with players being OUT. Padres are playing without Tatis and a Top Pitcher .Roberts needs to be Fired..
