Granite State Scenic Railway - Dawn of a New Era - Part 2

Published 2024-05-17
On May 11, the Granite State Scenic Railway officially kicked off operations for 2024 in both Lincoln and Meredith. We’re in Meredith as the year’s first “lakeside local” excursion between Meredith, Weirs Beach and Lakeport makes its run.

Of significance is the inaugural public excursion and shove move of the newly repainted and rethemed “The Leo” caboose, as well as the first public outing for the freshly repainted “Determination” Pullman coach.

Rode that train many times. Still remember Leo with the arrow through his hat. New Owners of the railroad?
