Insider’s Herrine Ro and friend Erin Kommor search New York City to find the best steak. They visit three iconic restaurants: Delmonico’s, Peter Luger Steak House, and Keen’s Steakhouse. After trying the most popular cut of steak at each place, they declare which place they think is best in town.

Editor’s note: This episode was filmed in December 2019 and January 2020. As of July 2020 both Keens Steakhouse and Delmonicos remain closed, however Peter Luger is open for takeout service.

  • I only watch insider videos for the comment section you guys roast them to absolutely shreds 😂
  • Can't really compare a porterhouse and a ribeye steak, should've ordered the same cut at every place
  • @JohnVerpeleti
Wonder what a review without "Oh, my God" would sound like.
  • @redclayfarm6490
"it's so fat it's actually glistening" .....yeah because they just glazed it..

Feels like I'm watching two non smokers reviewing best Cigars. (smh)

3:15 'oh my god it slides through the knife' proceeds to struggle cutting the steak

It's so odd to watch a video about steak houses without hearing "platonic ideal" and "maillard reaction"

Mantis and default Sorority girl needs to extend their vocabulary of finding new adjectives on describing steak dinners.

The Delmonico steak looks stunning. The char and glisten from that Wagyu beef fat / butter mixture was sublime. Perfect. Keen’s looked a clear second to me. I’ve been to Luger and at the time it lived up to the hype.
  • @botronic5339
Am I the only one who thinks they should’ve gotten the same cut of meat at every restaurant.
  • Bruh... At least wait for the food to touch your tongue before overreacting.
  • @pbsing
You need to compare steak cuts. Ribeyes and Porterhouses are two different cuts and two different flavor profiles.

Jules (Samuel L Jackson character in Pulp Fiction) to the blonde lady: "Say Oh my God again, i dare you, say oh my God again.... " 😂😂
  • Nice video. I think I've heard every chef on TV talk about how critical it is to let your meat rest so that you don't lose the juices and two of these three steakhouses bring it out cut up literally seconds after it's out of the broiler.
