Brilliant interview James and hopefully Eric will keep his word and come on again when the time is right
  • Great Interview. I met Eric Bischoff in Edinburgh some years ago and what a gentleman. Respect to the Podcast keep up the great work. πŸ‘ŠπŸ‘ŠπŸ‘Š
  • β€œYou’ll never understand what it’s like to to walk a day in my red & yellow boots.” - Hulk Hogan
  • I think I've gained a lot of respect for Eric Bischoff after watching this. Of course, I've only ever known his TV characters, but this was a genuine insight to the actual person, and it turns out, he's a decent fellow. It also sheds a lot of insight into Hogan's troubles over the past few years, which calls for quite a bit of rethinking of how we see Terry Bolea.

    He'd love my local pub, it's been there a while - 1249!

I would kill for 2 hours of erics time. Thank you so much eric bischoff. You helped mold my childhood into the most amazing memories and i fondly look back on wcw and how innovative you were and how cool your formatting was. Those live nitros still entertain me in my late 20s. Thank you so much mr Bishcoff you will forever be my favorite boss of a promotion ever. I aspire one day to meet you as i have so much love and respect for the body of work you created. Thanks eric -Mike from Canada

I've been looking forward to this interview in its entirety. Teased myself with some snippets but knew I needed the whole thing to appreciate it. Good to hear Eric again.
  • Wow! With so much 83 Weeks content available, I didn't expect to be interested in this interview. However, from the very start - Eric and James talking about historical buildings - an hour into this, it's one of the most engaging wrestling shoots ever recorded.
  • @SkateSoup
James smashes it as always, this was a great one. That AOL/Time Warner merger was such a shxtshow all around. A friend worked at AOL at the time, and they had an all hands 6-12 months after the merger with an open question period. One person got up and expressed that the merger seemed to have not gone well for anyone involved and asked what the path forward was. The CEO said, "If you remember, we bought them," to which the questioner immediately replied, "Great, can we sell them now?" Awkward laughter throughout the auditorium it was being held in.
  • Been waiting for the full interview, great stuff James, Eric is a top guest πŸ‘πŸ‘
  • @harrydbastard
Eric is right about Hogan, I once asked a question about steroids and he gave me a very long well thought out answer. He didn't need to say anything but it's stuff like that that makes you feel valued as a fan and growing up with his matches it adds to his legend.
  • @tomsawyer1648
I give him 100% credit all the way around, after the golden era stopped watching completely as well as a lot of other fans, the very first time I ever tried to buy anything off television was to obtain my very first NWO T-shirt And I patiently waited the two months for it to come in the mail and I wore it proudly! You put the spark back in when it was very much lost! Thank you Eric you were as entertaining as anyone I’ve ever seen in the business!
  • You're the fricking man James, WHAT an interview, please get Eric on again, he's extremely humble and gracious, I don't detect any ego, he's seen it all in this amazing industry, and there's so much more to tell, awesome πŸ‘πŸ‘, Great work on this epic interview.
  • Always watch 83 weeks and story time with dutch so looking forward to this
  • @im_cart8656
this is a really impressive interview... i haven't thought about wrestling and the wcw since i was a kid and the past couple days just been watching alot of old wcw videos and wrestling top 10s and whatnot and the nwo era left a big impact on my childhood so hearing this guys perspective about it all is cool. really impressive guy
