That track is brilliant. It sets them apart. It sets Neil apart. This is exactly why Neil was the best.

Always was one of Geddy's tastiest bass grooves. A lot of folks werent thrilled with this particular track, but it was a clear departure from their "normal" style. This departure was what made it stand out for me. The arrangement and musicianship were masterful, as always. Miss them terribly...😢

The way you are 'doing' the RUSH songs in order, is the same way we did it as listeners, but much slower.
  • I think this album is simply another great example of Rush's fearlessness - they were never afraid to innovate, yet while also somehow retaining that unique 'something' that makes them Rush 😎❤ Doubt there'll ever be another band like them for sure. Loving the ongoing journey through the back catalogue Tim 👍👍😎
  • I ALWAYS listen to both parts, 1 & 2. After all I went through a lot of time, trouble and financial investment to acquire the entire Rush discography (and, so far, most of their videos).
  • Says The National Midnight Star - 'It's true!' The source of the name for the Rush newsletter that was around for years both before and in the nascent days of the internet. Any other subscribers out there?

I love this song! Such a cool groove. And Neils playing on this track honestly is one of his best.
  • This is a laidback groove tune for sure very different for them. Between the wheels is another wow Alex is awesome tune!
  • Always loved that song, so different from any Rush song…

Can’t wait for you to get to Between the Wheels. It’s one of the best hidden gems in Rush’s entire catalogue.
  • Justin Panariello and John Slop are two other YouTubers who embarked on the same project as you. Slop finished a few months ago, oftentimes releasing more than one song per day. Panariello is currently finishing up Rush's penultimate studio album, Snakes and Arrows, but he sticks to a strict, one-a-day regimen and takes small breaks between albums as well.

Live G/P tour this was the lead in and out of his drum solo ( and the mercury is rising, damn straight )

When this album came out, critics panned this song, but next to Kid Gloves, it's always been one of my favorites. Good of you to listen to the very end. Rush does what a lot of bands did back in the day and change it up on the fade out. You can always hear a cool drum fill or Geddy playing some variation of the main bass line or play off the lyrics just before the track goes silent. It used to be a common production technique that modern music doesn't have.

Nice kick butt rythm! Rush On! You never knew what to expect from album to album. But we weren't disappointed. 😊

When I was young as a drummer this one left me speechless !!!
