Lake District UK | Haweswater Walk | DJI Osmo Pocket 2 | DJI Mavic 2 Pro | Cinematic Short

Published 2021-09-14
A short cinematic video of me and my wife out walking in the UK Lake District, around part of the Mardale Horseshoe at Haweswater.
Footage was captured using a DJI Osmo Pocket 2 (D-Cine) and Mavic 2 Pro (D-Log). All clips were corrected, graded and shot matched using Davinci Resolve Studio, utilising a light 'bleach bypass' colour grade.

I hope to get out to explore more of the Lake District soon, especially in snowy/wintry conditions, with the lads :)

Thanks for watching!

Nicely done on the footage and audio design Lee! Bummer about the cloud cover. Maybe I spaced it, but I didn't realize that we were also on the Soundstripe train...thinking of swapping to Epidemic just to keep things moving, but then...I find a song that fits the footage perfectly. Thank goodness for the DJI PoI, huh? It was perfect for your backdrop. I use it when I'm in open air and totally adjust altitude and proximity while the drone is doing its thing. ;) This thing is so short that I'm going in for another watch. That rock bench is super cool! Excellent work nailing the contrast! Sweet edit...good to see your wife was on-board with some camera action. :P Cheers!
