Without Carl Weathers I don't think the Rocky films especially Rocky and Rocky II would have been as great as they were. He brought an amazing presence onscreen.

Carl was HUGE physically. It's so sad that even the biggest, strongest guys succumb to something eventually. Rest in Paradise, Carl. Condolences to Sly, Carl's family and many other friends.

I hate to say this but without Carl Rocky would not have been so great . He brought something to the Rocky movies that Sly just didn't have . Together they made Rocky a masterpiece. Rip champ

My mom took my brother and I to see Rocky back in the 70s. It was the most exciting time we ever had as a family watching this iconic movie together. 😊

Carl’s hair was perfect! He dressed well, and his voice was one of kind! Preaching rocky that he and rocky were fighters…. Dancing around the ring with James brown… he was the coolest guy! RIP mr. Weathers!

I met Carl in Cherry Hill, NJ 6 years ago. He was 70 and looked super! I thought he would have had more time on earth than he did. ❤ Too Soon.
