This was a fantastic episode! I wish I watched this a year ago when I had to decide between two offers. I tragically declined my dream job due to 1) imposter syndrome and 2) not being remote/having to put my kids in child care during pandemic. Lesson learned is to choose work that you love and try to make it work ❤️ even if it doesn’t workout, at least you can say that you tried.

I've had a good career the last 20 years, though have felt it has been time to move for at least the last few. The questions Ken asked at the end were all a yes for me from the heart. I have hung on the last few years because I felt I was abandoning my clients. The money has also played into things. I just can't give 100% anymore and be happy. It tugs at me throughout the day..even last night at dinner with friends as I hear them excited about what they are doing, I know I'm not excited like I once was. It is time to move on to something that I can give my all at and everyone win in the situation. I have put the work in to identify it, have been doing it successfully part time, I enjoy it everyday, and would be fine financially. And I would have the time to grow it and create again. There is really no reason not to make the decision now.

I love horses! I have no interest in working/caring for them but I am happy for the caller! Sweet spot! Best wishes.

Just hearing the way the caller describes the two options makes it very clear to me which one he should choose.
