The Making of Salmon-Thirty-Salmon II - Alaska Airlines

Alaska Airlines and the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute today unveiled the world's largest king salmon. Stretching nearly 129 feet, the fish-themed design adorns one of the airline's Boeing 737-800. The 91,000 pound king will boldy promote the world's finest seafood as it flies on routes throughout the airlines network which spans from the Hawaiian Islands to Boston.

    The real heroes in all this are the person who calculated the precise amount of each of those "over 125 colors" needed to complete the job, and the person who had to mix all that paint.

    I believe if you painted more animals (especially animals on the endangered list) that would attracted more customers especially children and adults that still have that inner-self child. I loved the Salmon design on the plane. As a retire employee of PSA and US Air I have enjoyed several flights on Alaskan Airlines and give them A+ on their customer service and creativity.
