I had Swollen Lymph Nodes - Tim | Lymphoma and Prostate Cancer | The Patient Story

Published 2024-02-16
Tim was feeling extremely tired and had swollen lymph nodes. After multiple tests, he was diagnosed with follicular lymphoma. He would ring the bell and celebrate remission, but months later, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Instead of doing radiation, Tim opted to have his prostate removed.

In this cancer vlog, Tim shares his story about surviving two separate cancer diagnoses. His son adds perspective on what it's like to hear one of your parents has cancer.

He is right, just knowing is such a a relief because when one knows what is wrong, treatment options or not are ahead. If not, we can deal with that too with faith.

No real difference in survival with radiation therapy vs having your prostate removed. I would be interested in knowing your pathology before and after your surgery and gleason scores. Good luck and I wish you all the best.
