Today is another Sunday Another December 24, 2023 Time: 1.20. 1974 , I was in First Toa Payoh Secondary School in Toa Payoh Lor 1. Than in 1975, my life journey began. With 2 P6, 2 S7 completing my 10 years of schooling. Not in order: Maths Geography English English Literature But, my highest standard passed is Secondary 2. The remarks by teacher: I am a quiet student. What can I do with 2 'O' level. To work in a office or government service, minimum requirement is 3 'O'. So, I started out as a salesgirl working in Peninsula, selling jeans and men's shirt. The jeans were branded names like AMCO, Levis, Lee cooper, etc. The shirts were only 3 colors, in Grey, Pink and blue. From size 13 1/2 to 15 1/2. They sell very well. A smart shirt, long sleeve. Customers were mainly hip people, men and Indonesian's customers bought by bulk. The Indonesian language was like music to my ears. Sweet and soft spoken. My first encounter with Indonesian. Polite.
