Crazy how so many are saying some of these music artists are not rock and roll. Hello?!?! Learn your musical history people. Rock and roll was derived from Rhythm and Blues. Rock and roll also gets influences from many different other genres. Hence why we say, Pop Rock, Soft Rock, Country Rock and so on. That is what is wrong with this country now, so many are so narrow minded.

Selena needs to be in The Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. She's already in a bunch of others, and has stars on 3 walks of fame, and her music is a fusion of many different styles, including Rock, so why not induct her into just about the only Hall of Fame she's NOT in yet? She began her career MORE than long enough ago to be considered, and as far as I'M concerned, she should have been inducted before some of the other artists that already have been. I mean, listen to "Captive Heart" on her album "Dreaming Of You", for instance, and tell me that's not straight up Rock n Roll.
