Man talk about ironic timing. I just heard of the passing of legendary Disney voice actress Pat Carroll. Pat truly was a legend with a one of kind voice and cackle behind one of the greatest Disney villains of all time. Pat left behind a performance as Ursula which will never be forgotten, and although it was far from her only role, it is definitely the one she'll be remembered in for generations to come. As her child put it "Mom, do you realize that we grew up watching Disney films, and now your grand children will hear you in a Disney film." May she rest in peace.

Jodi Benson i think is one of the only disney princess voice actresses who's able to sound this identical to her role over 3 decades later

Whoever decided to hire Samuel E. Wright as Sebastian deserves an Oscar because Sebastian is a whole generations mascot. If I remember correctly from waking sleeping beauty "under the sea" was the first song from little mermaid that was presented to the execs at Disney….& the rest is history!

Fun Disney fact: In the film Enchanted, when Giselle goes to Robert's office, the background music is the instrumental of Part of Your World and his assistant is played by Jodi Benson.
