Dolly is the real deal. I saw her at her one—night-only show at Radio City Music Hall a few years ago. Literally everybody who was anybody was there: Jane Fonda, Isaac Mizrahi, Rupaul, Loretta Lynn, Anna Wintour, et al. She has fans of all stripes everywhere.

Dolly handled Merv’s vulgar questions well. But nothing beats the way Dolly put that condescending Barbara Walters in her place during an interview! lol

Thank you. Being a lifelong Dolly fan, it was great to see this for the first time. I've never seen Dolly so uncomfortable with an interviewer. The chemistry wasn't there - and she knew it. She held her own though. That's how professional she was and still is. She knew what she had to do, and what she'd have to encounter to get her brand out there. Too bad she had to endure a guy like this.

He is such an utter sleaze bomb. Poor Dolly. She must have been so happy when this intervlew was over. He constantly interrupts her and is only gearing up for the next sleazy question. But Dolly is always delightful.
