  • I love the symbolism of the scissors being the weapon of choice because scissors are 2 identical but mirrored blades tethered together
  • @JSMaddy
I just realised Addy was compassionate with the tethered kids because she knew they were one of her own but when she was face to face with Red, she felt no remorse because she wasn't of her own. The fight scene between the two showed how both of them went back to their original manners, Red who was actually Addy had a more graceful stance and Addy who was actually Red went into an animalistic frenzy.

Just hearing jason go "there's a family in our driveway" with no fear at all just SENDS ME.
  • Can we just talk about the fact that this film had the guts to keep the main 4 alive the whole time and the mad lad still managed to make a bloody, horrifying movie. You fuckin GO Jordan Peele.
  • @IdiotsonAirYT
Most terrifying sentence in the entire movie: “There’s a family in our driveway”
  • @tjlane4030
I love that bit with James getting himself hyped like he's the kill counter and just gets shut down by the characters. Great Dead meat highlight
  • @karimqk1895
For all the people saying that "we were rooting for the wrong person all along," I don't actually think that's true. The Tethered are creepy and murderous, yes, but they also had been living an existence that is as horrific as it is unjust. I think the fact that we as the audience were "tricked" into rooting for a tethered character was to make the point that it was actually kinda justice to have the og tethered Red win out in the end. What she did to the original Addie when they were young was fucked up and horrific, but Red was essentially a slave escaping at the expense of her (unwitting) master. I think the movie wants us to think hard about exactly how "wrong" an ending it actually is (as well as implying the point that The Tethered, if brought above-ground and raised in actual humane conditions, might really be every bit as "normal" and adjusted as us).

It’s crazy how a woman as beautiful as Lupita Nyong’o could be so terrifying! And seeing her stay in character even when asking about her lines and stuff is insane! She is so damn talented!
  • Technically, if the Tethers complete their mission, the kill count would have killed 327 million people
  • I’m honestly shocked how we never got a scene of one of the family taking the suit of their dead tethered self and using it to trick the other tethers or the other way around
  • @Emily-wq4dn
Question: are Umbrae and Pluto’s genetics are technically half tethered and half non-tethered (because “Red” is really Adelaide)? And if so, does that mean Zora and Jason are the same way? I’m not sure why I’ve never thought about that before, but it would make sense I think.
  • @LoftyXsWaGX34
So sad when i realized adie had her whole life stolen from her.
  • Funniest part of this terrifying film, for me, is when the family literally runs through their own individual kill count especially how Gabe is so nonchalant about the fact that he killed himself
  • @fishstks9677
I think it's crazy how someone I find absolutely hilarious is capable of creating something that genuinely horrifies me. Mad props to Jordan Peele.
  • @Sin_ofPride_
I love how we have two mcu actors as the main parents in this movie Gabe: winston duke: m'baku Abby: lupita nyong'o: nakia Both characters in the black panther movies
  • The issue is that the tethered only join the chain after killing their counterparts, so for every tether we see on the line that is another person dead....
  • Technically all of the tethered that are holding hands count as kills because if they are holding hands then that means they have already killed their double
  • @maxducks2001
James’s Tethered cosplay at the end is so perfect. Seriously, if he was in the movie, that’s how I’d expect him to look.
