I loved this. Stephen’s little smile on his face the whole game. It’s nice to see some pool on this channel as much as I love snooker.

That shot Gareth showed Stephen to develop the 8 ball early in the game was such a clever shot. And Stephen played it perfectly, nice shot 🙂

The delight on Stephen's face when Gareth missed his last ball in the second frame. Even though it's a friendly chat, that competitiveness is always there. Nice video, thanks guys.
  • @keshavp
Gareth does justice to his last name more than anyone else in his family ig.

Stephen, never let your opponent talk you into a bank/double on the 🎱 ball 😂

The grin on Hendry when Gareth missed the red in frame 2 was great.

Absolutely brilliant. If Gareth hadn't coached him through it, I reckon Hendry would have come unstuck. Fascinating to see the difference in how they see the table. Love it

"I mean, are you happy with that cue ball?" Stephen, out gunned and desperate, opts for some mind games 🙂

Loved this, great sportsmanship from both, especially Potts, tutoring one of the all time greatest cue sport masters. Great video!

That was such a thrill to watch. Learnt so much about choosing the right pattern. Fantastic content as always. Wish it was so much longer!

Great, takes you back to younger days, pool in the pub, snooker couple of evenings, same banter, same crack, same great fun, Thanks Stephen.

That was excellent. Thanks so much Stephen and Gareth! I'm a die-hard snooker guy but have such an appreciation for pool. It's a very different game, and I find it very difficult to play well (I completely run out of position, the table dimension confuses the hell out of me, and I just can't read the pattern as Gareth describes in this video). Amazing stuff :)

Gareth Potts came to Stephen Hendry’s Snooker Club in Preston when I was about 13 years old (around 2011) and I won the Saturday kids tournament to play him in one of the 8 exhibition matches he was playing! I always used to pride myself on my bottle, but when my name got called out to play him I started seeing double! Top guy though I’ve still got the picture my Dad took shaking Gareth’s hand before breaking off - good times! Signed cue and towel still intact too ha! Great to see him in these videos, he’s a natural coach and explains the game so well!

That was perhaps the most engaging and informative Cue Tips episode yet 👌. Great coaching tips and a whole new appreciation for the game of pool and the strategies involved. You could tell Stephen got a kick out of this as well. Bravo lads 👏🏻

Always such an interesting channel. Great to watch Hendry talking with experts. Also it's been brilliant to see his game improving again in real time in each video that goes up.
