These are really cool and only pop up after you finish the main story. They're actually extremely insightful and fill-in what Bode was doing throughout Cal's adventure.

These are really cool and only pop up after you finish the main story. They're actually extremely insightful and fill-in what Bode was doing throughout Cal's adventure.
-
Bode: Singing to/about his dead wife, his voice audibly breaking with emotion.
Cal: practices his quickdraw on some plants and rocks -
Maybe if Cal heard those echoes before he burned his body heād have dumped him in the trash instead
-
These echoes, to me, rienforce the idea that Bode's path very much mirrors Cal's. Survive the purge, trust no one, meet a woman who changes your path (Bode's wife for Bode, Cere Junda for Cal), and find something to fight for. Cal fights for freedom. Bode fights for his daughter.
In Fallen Order, we saw a "dark future" section where Cal surrenders to the Empire in order to save younglings. While he was able to change his fate, Bode surrendered to the Empire in order to save a "youngling" (his daughter). Both Cal and Bode end up using the dark side, and teaming up with others to achieve their goals. The main difference is that Cal wants to fight, while Bode has no real desire to fight; he only wants Kata to be safe.
When Cal fights him at the end of Survivor, he's essentially fighting a version of himself. Just a version that made a few different choices along the way. -
Bode and Kata singing together made me sad. Bode singing alone, changing the line to reference his wife broke me.
-
When I first met Bode I actually assumed he was a spy since he was the ānew guyā and kept having weird looks on his face at crucial moments, but my mistake was thinking he didnāt have a daughter and that it was a lie. I just felt like he brought it up too much to prove he was a good guy.
-
These are the ones you missed for the 100%.
- in Coruscant, near the Mantis.
- Observation Deck in Mountain Observatory, in the boss arena.
- Forward Control Tower, in Viscid Bog, in the escaping pods area. -
During my second playthrough, I realize when he was convincing Cal to get with Merrin ("Yeah, I hear Jedi swear off attachment"), he was manipulating Cal, not giving him advice. Easier to beat the man with fear of loss than a stoic with no attachments. Backfired, though, Cal's rage saved him in the end; he was capable of integrating his shadow, unlike the Jedi. Bode's mistake was assuming Cal was a Jedi, not an individuated force-user trained by Jedi.
-
Iāve seen a lot of criticism towards the Bode twist but these force echoes handle it perfectly.
-
"Poor bastard's in love" yeahhhhhhh, I think bode got too nice of a funeral now.
-
As soon as I heard kata sing the song while walking up the the temple, ik this whole story and it's end is gonna be a master peice. We heard this lullaby so much like other star wars music during the course of the game but I just thought it was a new sound track for the game until.you hear kata sing it it becomes more aware thay the song is as much as apart of the story as the characters. 10/10 game one of the greatest of all time

Credits Redpa: 452 : Coruscant : Behind the Mantis
453 : Koboh : On the small landing pad where Bode's Z-95 was (grey and red circle on the ground), next to the Mantis.
454 : Koboh : Outside Doma's shop
455 : Nova Garon : Denvik's office
456 : Koboh : Under the Mantis landing pad
457 : Koboh : In the escape pod area, at the very top of the Lucrehulk ship (after the boss fight area)
458 : Jedha : Next to the mantis, on the training dummy
459 : Koboh : On the ground floor of the Pyloon
460 : Koboh : Lucrehulk ship, near the second meditation point (I don't know how it was named in English, sorry), but, from the beginning, it's just after the first elevator
461 : Koboh : Obsevatory, in the boss room
462 : Jedah : Archive, on the ground
463 : Nova Garon : In Bode's apartment
464 : Tanalorr : Where Kata was singing
465 : Tanalorr : Near Bode's Z-95, in a bush -
Honestly, I'm surprised anything to do with "Disney Star Wars" is still capable of writing something this good. Not only did they give us an actual sympathetic villain who was hiding in the background the whole time, but they had the balls to double-tap him when in most cases it's stereotypical good-guy behavior of just letting him/her go.
I felt bad for Bode. I really did. I mean, how many of you out there can't honestly say you wouldn't tap into the Dark Side, so to speak, to protect your children? And what I absolutely love is that despite his transgressions, I felt Cal understood that they're ALL victims of the Empire and thus still honored Bode with a funeral pyre next to Cere and Cordova. -
I loved the complex story telling because Bodes loyalty was to his child as most of us would agree. I think cutting the deal with the Empire to betray someone ethical was his fatal mistake. I often wonder if he sincerely apologized to Cal and explained his disposition if Cal wouldāve let him go.
-
I still have a question: how did Bode conceal himself in the force so well? I thought only Palpatine was skilled enough to stay in the shadows without severing his connection to the Force.
-
Since Tanalorr obviously couldnāt house both bode and his daughter. AND the Hidden Path. Not like its a whole god damn planet.
-
I thought we just had a new cast at the beginning of the game, but when they all died and Bode flew off solo during the Coruscant TIE chase and came back unscathed, I knew something eas up
-
You missed one, I think. In Dagan's lab, Bode picks up his lightsaber.
-
Maybe im crazy, but 6:16 sounds like it go very well with a specific Star Wars soundtrackā¦ I just canāt remember which one.
-
Your missing several. The escape pods in the raider base. The one at the hanger in Coruscant. The place where we had a final battle with a one-armed douche-Jedi. A few Iām probably forgetting. I have 452-464. The one next to his ship on Tannlor is probably the last one.
