A minute with Dan Patrick is better than an hour in ESPN.

Smart. If they don’t wanna give her respect why should she be their show pony. She already does enough
-
If anyone wants to know. 2 days ago before or after a game, Caitlin was asked about the 3 point contest and Caitlin said no one from the WNBA had contacted her. Other players on the Orange carpet mentioned they were asked late to be in skills contest. The NBA by comparison starts the process much earlier for getting their players to show up for skills and 3 point contest. So, the WNBA dropped the ball and never reached out until the last minute. Dan is probably correct though, she wanted to let other player have some air time.

No matter what CC does she'll have those haters. She's only contracted to the All Star Game. She's wise in her choice.
-
It was a wise decision.
-
Some say she was pressured to not participate because the WNBA doesn’t want her to be the face of the league
-
CC is not a circus act. You nailed it, if she loses the hate will be non-stop. She has a high IQ and is above the nonsense.
-
The WNBA probably asked Caitlyn and Sabrina not to play.
-
Because they didn't even invite her until Thursday.
-
I was thinking it was an F U for leaving her off of team USA
-
How about she skips the three point contest to teach wnba a lesson and give them a wake up call..meaning "without me on any of your agendas, no one will watch."
-
She cares more about winning the game vs Team USA then she does a 3 point contest.
-
Reese didn't show up to orange carpet because she wasn't getting paid ROFL.
-
You are saying because she is a rookie she has to do the 3-point contest, come on. She sold out just about every game she has played in, she spends time with the kids signing before and after every game and you still expect her to do more for promoting the game. Have you forgot the ridiculous playing schedule the Fever has had. She can say no and she does not have to justify her reasons to you even though you are curious.

She needs a day off! Win NCAA championship, STR8 in Wnba draft, STR8 into Wnba season, 12 games in 20 STR8 days 400 points 200 assists breaking records
-
Who would be hurt most by losing the 3 pt contest. That question gives you the answer.
-
It's a damn if you do damn if you dont but if the league refuses to acknowledge her. They can't use her when its convenient. Then other times crap on her or not give recognition. Let them promote the other women.
-
Some think they pressured her to not participate
-
Heard she was asked to take a backseat and give other players time in the sun instead of high jacking the whole weekend and all the attention being on her.... Would the NBA even consider that with Jordan? They wanted to grow the brand.

Dan, the woman is tired. She's been playing competitive basketball since last September!!!
