Game Theory: Why You HATE My Theories (FNAF)

I’m sad the fnaf community has become so hateful, to literally everyone. Every single theorist who tries to solve the story, the complicated lore, is automatically hated. I LOVE FNAF, but I dislike a large part of the fnaf community

Right or wrong, MatPat’s theories are so intriguing and thought provoking and entertaining to watch.

you can tell mat is actually upset, and its making me upset. hes literally a father figure to all of us in the theorists community.

What I love about this is how Matt's just been silently taking all the flak for so many years without caring, because he's an adult who's secure in himself and doesn't need random stranger's validation. But now that it's spreading to everyone else, NOW he decides to weigh in with a callout on the toxic side of the community. Idk, just something kinda wholesome about Dadpat suddenly taking action because this newer generation is being attacked. (but that's just a theory, etc., etc.)

I don't understand how a robot child is a step too far in a series where five animatronics scooped out a man's insides, crawled inside of him and puppeted around his corpse until it became too rotten to use... And he lived through it.

26 minutes and 20 seconds showcasing why I love MatPat so much. The amount of both emotional and intellectual maturity that comes out of this man is off the charts, and the way he's able to present his case and his view of things is something I both see in myself and strive to be more like. Not to mention I love the goofiness at the end :P If it weren't for Matt, I never would have even given FNAF a second glance after the first game came out. I always love watching his theories, no matter if they're wrong or if I disagree with them. It's all just a theory

I love how he drops the fun-loving facade for just a second when reading the cancer comment. They are making light if a life-destroying disease just to make a petty comment on his theory and I love how seriously he takes it. Love ya Matty, have since I was eight. 👍

Matpat got visibly upset at the “literal cancer” comment. I was surprised, but he’s right. Cancer is scarier than everything in fnaf combined and we need to understand that.

The fact that this man sat down, addressed all the hate thats being thrown at fnaf theorists and then gave us a logical analysis on why he thinks this is happening earns him my respect.

3:20 i feel like mat took that personally because if you remember 5 years ago his old editor Ronnie died because of cancer...its safe to say that he and the rest of the og game theory cast are still missing him and didn't need that slap in the face to whoever wrote that comment...look in the mirror and tell me your proud of what you did.

I think the problem a lot of the FNAF community faces is that it isn't always about being right. Sure, you've got your fair share of theories and timeline answers wrong in the past, but you had a blast crafting those ideas and I had a blast watching them, discussing them, agreeing with them, and even disagreeing with them. Too many fans are too worried about what is 100% right in the canon which is so hard to pin down even for Scott. They need to take a step back and learn to just enjoy the process. Its the same reason why I love breakdown videos of comic book tv shows and movies, the theory crafting of what COULD happen or COULD'VE happened not what DID happen or WILL happen.

''Theory'' literally means ''an idea or intention to explain something'', Mat has never said that his theories are the ''ACTUAL CANON'' nor anything like that, it's just his way of interpreting his ideas to us. So don't listen to those who do not appreciate your work Mat, love you <3

Matpat saying “Go touch grass” might be the most soul satisfying thing I’ve heard. Props to you, Matt. Don’t let these discord mods tell you otherwise.

Matt went from being hurt and upset after Sans is Ness (A theory I still really like) to literally throwing away hate comments. I kinda like that character development.

I lost my MIND when I saw your cameo in the movie. I’m so happy for you :) after years of being so passionate about these games, this is a huge mile stone for you . I don’t understand how anyone can question your passion.
