"Rapid, unscheduled disassembly" Brandon should be a lawyer with terminology like that
  • @Gunz2quik
Brandon is that friend mere doesn't let Matt hang out with too often lol
  • @Rocketman9mm
spas 12 was also the shotgun in the Half-Life 1 & 2 FPS games. It didn't switch between semi and pump, but the alternate fire was two shots at once, because for some reason back then the devs thought there were two barrels and the ammo loaded into neverland.
  • Brandon saying "thats why the bullet came this way instead of keep going that way" was the funniest part of the video
  • Ak guy, "hey I learned something about a firearm today" what his heart tells him, "it's not an ak, wtf do I care" 🤣 love watching both of your channels! Keep up the 2nd!

I bought a SPAS 12 (with folding skeleton stock and hook.) back in 1986 - 87, brand new. Still have it. I've probably only put about 10 rounds through it in all the time I've owned it. It's in mint condition. I think I paid $695-ish for it at the gun store. I knew they were now pricey to acquire but didn't know they were going for as much as 5k now. Good to know.
  • Matt's intros are a great indication that you can totally use live ammo for filmmaking with some clever editing. Guns look so much better with recoil!

"Unscheduled disassembly" is the best way to describe a catastrophic failure on a firearm ive ever heard!!

I hope all SPAS 12 owners have looked inside the receiver to make sure the buffer is intact...which many/most of the early version (such as these in the video...tip off is the lever safety) will have long disintegrated and be missing. Without the buffer every shot you fire in semi is battering the back of the receiver. Thankfully if you do a web search there is a guy offering new and better engineered replacement buffers for both early and late versions.
  • As a 13 year old when Jurassic Park came out, I love this intro, the spas-12 has been in my heart ever since...
  • God man it’s crazy. Your spas 12 video back in like 2012 is what got me into YouTube and firearms at the age of 10 and eventually my love for guns made me become interested in how they function. And that’s what got me into cars and how they function. Anyways, just wanted to let you know that even though it might not seem like it at times, you are actually changing peoples lives!

As soon as I heard “and this one is from Northern Ireland”, all I could think is “well, we should have a winner, aaaaand now we’re all on a watchlist.” 🤣
  • @dimitar4y
your commitment to the intros has a child like innocence that makes this channel what it is.

Not all drum heads are made from kevlar. Most are still made from plastic or fiberglass trying to sound like animal skin, or somewhat rarer actual animal skin, usually cowhide. However since the late 80s/early 90s or so marching drums, especially snare drums, have had kevlar heads to withstand a lot more tension and make a much louder, more piercing/cracking sound that carries better outdoors. Thank DCI for that.

So many thrillers and horror movies would be over so quickly if the characters just had Spas-12’s. My girlfriend hates watching movies with me because I always say “if he had a shotgun..” 😂😂
  • Demo Ranch really needs to have Brandon on more. these two are so fucking hilarious together. I would love to see these two get more comfortable with each other...no homo...cuz they just need that "good homie" vibe and humor 😎👍
  • "I wonder why they'd be making kevlar in Ireland..." That was one of the funniest things ive seen on this channel in a while but wow that is also lowkey frightening 😂
  • @JasonAJames
The effort put in is commendable. I love the channel to channel friendly trash talk.

Best video yet! Love the chemistry between you dudes, reminds me of your old shotgun shell vids. Nostalgia works in strange ways
