The emotions of Jessie Anderson (starting from 7:56) when that booster splashed down, gave me chills and tears. Hat's off to all the engineers that made this possible. We are witnessing history!

0:38 the screams from the pumps and engines spooling up... and then the roar... OH GOD, THE ROAR! COULD YOU IMAGINE BEING THERE?!?!??!

What an incredible success. Splashdown from the booster and an equally successful landing of Starship itself. And that after one of the wings had melted. It was even still functional so that the belly flop could be carried out. Congratulations on this next milestone in space travel history. Great work SpaceX
  • All of this happening in less than 10 minutes. Amazing work, SpaceX team!

The rapid advancement of technology during my lifetime has been truly staggering! In what way? I still remember, quite vividly, the Starship Challenger explosion during my Grammar School years and thinking: "it's just not possible".

It's awesome to see the progression of Starship. It has come a long way.
  • Booster splashdown was awesome and I can't wait for some footage to be released of the Starship landing too even though it got totally toasted on the way down.

This was absolutely beautiful. History in the making. The plasma ate through the joint and it the ship still landed. Just wow!
