San Bernardino man watches home burn amid wildfire

I can't stand seeing this happen. My sincerest apologies to this man and others who lost their homes

Lived in San Bernardino 13 years. I can remember little mountain burning almost every year. It's a tiny green spot surrounded by homes. This should never happen, cut down the fuel, use goats and sheep. But no, just let the brush grow out of hand. Incompetence.

watched this fire in real time from a local tv copter. They put water on burning homes, engulfed but never put water on the unburned homes next door and threatened. It was odd.

This so sad. But someone had to of started the fire at the vegetation site they should be held accountable for the devastation to the homes and the animals that were killed

Very Sad - something Ive wondered. In small wealthy communities near dry grass hills. Why doesnt community install outdoor high pressure water valves with fireproof hosing. Just have it there and ready at each house and one in street. Anybody can turn on and blast high volume water early. Not saying it would save all houses, but it may save some. We live on a small farm and have this faucet on side of garage. It blows 4x the water of a normal hose up to 150ft.

if you and your neighbor look at for each other , then why did there home home up and your saved yours? the meaning of HELP IS TO HELP? the first thing that happens in this kind of area is to clearr away the brush, the dead palms off the trees, the sage brush around the homes , this is reason why these people lost there homes, not help each other , but for not cleaning around your home , dinders flies thru the air looking for a dead branch or dead brush, thats what causes fires , IF YOU DONT CLEAN UP THE AREA AROUND YOUR HOME , IT BURNS THATS YOUR FAULT,?
