I made this air compressor to blow dust, pump tires, inflate balloons, ...I use 775 motor (12V-5000 rpm), GT2-20T pulley, GT2-80T pulley, belt 220-GT2-10mm.

Very nice design. Only thing missing is a dewateringtap on the underside of the tank. Pressurized air will condensate in the tank and leave water behind. Not that this tank will rust, but it will function less and less and less because water is taking the place of pressurized air

Very cool. I would recommend using PVC cement instead of CA glue for that pressure vessel (or just using an off-the-shelf one). CA glue will bond it together, but PVC cement is a solvent, and will physically weld the plastic together into one piece.

Интересно, сколько без перерыва он может работать, ведь там трение и жестокие нагревы цилиндра, расплавиться же и заклинит. Даже модельный компрессор нагревается, рука не терпит, так там металл, а тут все из пластмассы) Но выглядит не реально круто, и самое классное, все своими руками!👍

It's very nice, but even if this is just for fun, I would never trust that pressure vessel in the long run. You can't take chances with pressurized air. Even at modest pressures, failures can be catastrophic.

I saw first time such a fantastic project. It seems to be manufactured in factory. In my opinion final year engineering student can present it as his project. ❤❤❤
